Scanner Web Zine

Hey all
Just a note about the Scanner site and the lack of updates as of now.
I've had to head home to the UK as I've been informed my dad has about 2-4 weeks to live. Cancer's got him. He cared for my wheel-chair bound mum also.
I've a lot to sort out here - I had hoped to get a decent UK connection for my laptop to do some webwork in down time - but it's proving tricky right now.
I'll keep ya posted.

Thanks for the kind words. Yeah, dad is in a bad way - cancer has infected the Oesphagous, colon, bowel and now the stomach. He's fighting though... How long I am gonna be here is anyone's guess still. I have a dial-up connection - but it's slow and is probably gonna cost a packet!!
I'll keep you posted here when I can.

Hey all
Seems like the Forum has gone pretty quiet - this some kinda collective condolences??
Anyway, I'm heading back to NZ on Tuesday 2nd September so the website will be back in action then.
It's been a tough time all told - and the concern of Mum being all alone here and wheelchair-bound is pretty heavy - but the worst is over.
Plenty of updates to come!! Keep

The flight was OK yeah - but hell - those IPOD/ MP3 player things were a SAVIOUR!!
But I'm back to it now - bunch of reviews have been posted, there are two interviews ready to be posted and a new Podcast will get uploaded this week when I get back to work and the quick 'net connection!!
