Just been working flat out on a Dead Centre/Boris/The Pukes/Mike Puke compilation CD, which is called "21 Years Of Total Fuckin' Mike Puke Hell! It's got 32 songs from 1988 to 2009 on it! It's a bit of a no frills bugger though... just lots of songs! Steve, I'll send you a copy for review when I get the covers printed (whenever I make it over to Dunedin next)...

Part II is due for release in 2030!

Sounds cool Michael!! Man - that must mean 21 years of band rehearsals too??!! I managed about 10 years of playing in bands which was fun - but rehearsing was usually a real struggle - unless there were copious amounts of Guinness, Carlsberg Export, Red (or white - like I care!!) Wine, Hash, Speed and/or whisky!! The music sounded like shit but hell - I had a good time!!

Yeah, pretty much 21 years of band rehearsals and lots and lots of shit! Ha ha, that's where the "hell" bit comes in! Being in bands just seems to be like some sort of hell, having to put up with other people and all their crap! Recording on your own is way less stressful! The Pukes was always the less stressful band to be in... We NEVER rehearsed with The Pukes... once we had the songs sorted, that was it... our rehearsals were our gigs! The only times we reheared after that was training up new bass players! Boris was pretty sweet, but that only lasted about 2 months! With Dead Centre we always liked to have a beer and a smoke or ten! Ha ha, ten years of shit there... though we had lots of good times too!
