Anyone know of any head-ache inducing cocktails or mixers involving whiskey?? Forget the usual of Water or Ice or Lemonade or Coke or Ginger - I've even heard of Milk as a mixer. Any others?? _________________ Rules = No Rules

the only recipes i can find are american and they all seem to contain "sours mix" typical yanks...
every other recipe seems to think its just lemon juce, whiskey, sugar and soda but i'd put lime juice in as well coz its better that way.
drink it straight and dont be such a pussy! jks
or theres the old hot toddie:
1 shot of whiskey (or 2)
1/2 Lemon
Boiling water
Honey to taste
it fuckin rules when you got a cold or flu
in fact Whiskey rules anytime.

I saw this on the Cookery Channel the other night (how's that for being punk as fuck huh?? ) and while it's not a cocktail, it's certainly a 'new' way to use whisky!!
This woman cooked some pasta and used double cream as a pasta sauce into which she put slices of salmon (yeah - like anyone reading this can afford that - but tinned salmon I guess would work). To 'cut through' the cream and salmon, she splashed a few shakes of whisky in there - probably not enough for my liking - but I'm gonna give it a go this weekend. Fresh parsley then finished it off as a topping.
Sounds good huh?? _________________ Rules = No Rules

Or you could try the simple version... chuck out all of the ingredients except for the whiskey! Nah, just kidding... let us know how it goes! Sounds "interesting"...

Damn I could have done with that hot toddie recipe a day or two ago, oh well even though my cold's on the way out could be worth a try.
Trust the forum topic about cooking to be just talking about whiskey haha!!

I think I'd be puking! I don't eat fish anyway... if I wanted to keep my intake of mercury up, I'd munch on some thermoniters! Nah, just kidding... But I don't eat fish... never been much of a fan of seafood! Or does Salmon come from lakes/rivers? Fucked if I know...
