Do you have a Vespa Annie? They are pretty cool... though I think most motorbikes are pretty cool! They're all fun in their own way... Shit, I'd have millions of them if I could!

I have these...

1980 Honda CB400

2004 Honda XR250

2008 Suzuki GS500

Dunno if you know what they are or not, but the CB and GS are road bikes and the XR is a trail bike. The CB's in pretty good nick, but I'd like to retore it eventually...

Shit, that sucks Blair that you can't get your license because of your eyes! But still, like you say, no need to let the law stop you! I've never had a car licence... though I have been sitting on my learner's for God knows how long now...

I've owned a couple of scooters and a Yamaha RX125. I doubt you can even get RX parts now. A 1980 CB seems fairly antique too.

Ha ha, those boneheads are just jealous that the Japs build better bikes!

Back in about 1988-1989 I had an XR200 that I sold to a friend! Shortly afterwards it got stolen by bikies who dragged it down the road behind a car and fucked it! Fuckin' idiots!

Just had a quick look on the net... they were still building them up to at least 2006! Probably much the same as the older ones under the skin...

Yeah, the old CB's getting on, they're getting pretty thin on the ground these days... The old CB350/4's from the 1970's are still really popular...

Yeah, I think if I lived in a big city I would walk or use public transport too!

Ha ha, nah I'm not gonna sell that bike in a hurry! That's my every day commuter bike, it's all street legal and really economical... $20 lasts me two weeks and that gets me a long way... it's perfect for zapping around the place! Vespa's aren't really ideal for where I live... I live about 10k out of town! If I lived right in town I might consider a Vespa or something...

Hey Mike - I'm into Bikes - PUSH bikes haha!! They're even cheaper than your $20 per two weeks  I did go on a motorbike a few times in my youth - but the bug never really got to me. I'd always spend my cash on records, booze or shows - or a mix of all three!! Oh - and a guitar or two when needed.

This is the kinda Bikeage I groove on!!

Ha ha, yeah push bikes are even cheaper again! I'd like to ride round more on push bikes, but I don't like our main road... too many logging trucks etc going to and from Port Chalmers! Though they are slowly building a bike track, which will be really cool when it's finished!

I found a really nice bike at the dump shop a while back... it's an Italian racing bike... light as fuck, looks like it would've been a really expensive bike in it's day... and it's in virtually new condition! I said to the guy at the shop "how much do you want for this old 10 speed?" He gave it a quick glance and said "$5 will do". Gave him his $5 and buggered off quickly before he changed his mind...

Yeah, I've spent a lot of money in the past on booze, records. music stuff etc... now I'm having a bit of fun and spending it on other stuff, like motorbikes... maybe a trip to the U.K sometime, have a look around, see some bands and play some shows!
