The Stooges, r.i.p. Ron

Radio Birdman, I almost died seeing them live, the diversity in these albums is something some 'punk' bands could take a lesson from but wait these are garage bands, horror shock and awe I play them on my radio show amongst other things, but wait they're not 'punk' bands, please stop insulting my intelligance on other forums on the net Phlegm, I can take a joke but others can't.

P.S. I play lots of new garage bands on my show alllll the time, have a listen.

The Swamp Rats (they were the Sonics that slipped everyone by) really raw and primal bashed out greatness.

Any of Fred Cole's bands! Dead Moon pretty much take the crown for me when it comes to garage shit.

Been rockin' The Deviants' album Disposable a bunch this week.

The Monks

The Music Machine

Horror Stories era Dwarves deserves a mention

Shadows Of Knight, Downliners Sect, The Animals.... all great stuff.

I wouldn't call it a total rip... most of the garage guys were just having fun covering tunes they liked its not like they made heaps of money off it and stole songs.
