Dunno if this works everywhere, but a mate of mine employeed it (hehe - interesting play on words! ) and managed to claim dole (unemployment benefit) for another 3-4 months without any hassle while they 'looked into it'.
The scam involved asking about driving lessons as he was interested in getting a 'driving job'. Yeah, right...
Of course, being on the dole he couldn't afford the lessons so asked whether they were free to those unemployed. The drone at the unemployment office had no idea.... and promptly forgot about it.
Move forward a few months and the heat was getting heavy for my mate to find a job - - and he threw the question back in the ring and said he still wanted the lessons as driving 'really appealed'. The request was looked into this time - no they weren't free but he did manage to carry on blagging dole cash for the intervening period hassle-free!!
By that time - there was another scam!!

If anyone tries it out - I'd love to know the result!!

I'm not sure whether you're talking about scannerzine forum as a whole or this part of the forum. If you mean as part of scannerzine it's a different website to punkas run by a different person and the forum is an addition to the main site rather than the main feature, much like the punkas main site for those that can't bothered with message boards. I'm sure Steve, like Matt gets more main page readers than those that read forums.

Why can't there be more than one forum?

Phlegmata is spot-on here, although I do appreciate the 'sarcasm' Blair given your situation.
There was actually an old Forum on the Scanner site that was within the site itself - but it was shite! People couldn't post or access it it seems. I actually got the link for this style of Forum from a website set up by Welly outta FOUR LETTER WORD. Of course there are gonna be similarities between this and Punkas, but this forum is an extention of Scanner which, I believe, is different in style and content and direction from that of Punkas. Please note the word DIFFERENT - not better or worse. Matt does a fantastic job with Punkas.
What's more - I don't think Punkas has a 'subversive actions' section in its forum - does it?

crywank, I've been made a pariah, bloody net mugabes, maybe I'll go live in Taumaranui.

subvert: hows this, that site wouldn't have dece shit onnit if it wasn't for me after half the RW bagged the shit out of it as it was shit and shit floats, inspired half the dece cunts to be in dece bands and set up festies for them to come too(circle jerks), don't remember ever grabbing em by the dogcollars for 'behaving badly'. I'm your nana, I clean your floors and you don't even know I've been there but they just wanted a party and sold their gran cause they din't want her around anymore, too old, sorry I already am part of the clash.

chuck words at me and I'll chuck em right back, 'they ain't seen nothing yet'.

'freedom, there ain't no fucking freedom'.

Cheers Steve, that's all I can say haha, watch the circle spin.

I'm invisable on Punkas! I post something and no cunt will even reply... even people I know! Oh well, fuck them! Anyway, there's way too many conservatives on there! I'll leave them to it...

New Zealand sure does have a conservative punk scene! :( I mean, look at how many people are even willing to climb out of their box and try a new forum! Stay in the biggest herd... baa baaa!

Ha ha, Charlie Harper said that my lyrics are too intelligent for most people to understand... From my experiences on Punkas, I might even have to agree with him...

Subversive on Punkas means playing gigs at KFC! Ha ha, the state of punk rock in this country... What the fuck happened to people actually hating huge multi-national corporations that fuck over people and the planet for profit...?

Oh well, nothing new I suppose...

Back to the original subject...

I've been sitting on my learner's car licence for years... I wonder if I could try something like that and get the Government to pay for me to sit my full! Must be some kind of course or something...

Working class hero is something to be, make up so many rules you can't follow them, they want you to leave or drive you crazy, 'your the one thats crazy', I ain't gonna tell ya my subversive tales, that wouldn't be subversive, jst saying, got mi inta too much truble already, with headsand kiwis saying, 'you shouldn't have an opinion': subversion, they think they're doing lots but it's lots of lame and I played their game and they didn't like it waaa

They say its a waste of time, they are a waste of time.

They ain't seen nothing yet.

Punk has become full of the establishmant purporting to be the representative of NZ punk haha while they truly berate those who are, you get banned for free speech and are egotistical if do something. free speech is telling rape and racist jokes and more besides because people are so insecure while forming their geek gangs from behind screens(how do gangs form?). I know they exist cause I know some of em and have met em which they don't like and 'try' to polarise me, What a surprise from governmant office workers and the like, taking the money and running, they think that's rich while they are, working hard for the man, women, person in pants, the height of hypocrisy that runs deep. So much for punk rock and I hadn't even done anything yet, the dawn of a shitage that I am quite aware of, they'll say ooh they're talking about us and take it all too seriously as a sign that they're doing something right while it's not which you have to scream to get across while they pretend it's all a joke, they're lying, how come so many don't believe me when I've done so much, because they're selfish humans, thats it. They are it because I can laugh at myself but I don't take shit lying down, They think I need them while I stand on principle which is why I even mention it as I have so often not had the opportunity to have an equal say while they are quite willing to create perception and make me the pariah by also lumping me in with groups I have little or nothing to do with and that I am the only one who could have ever done anything wrong right?, not in the slightest! in comparison with what has crossed into RL when it was all supposebly shit and giggles. I have had complications from diabetes in the past few years which may explain some of my not so wonderful actions which may seem many but again pale in comparison to what they have tried to do to me, as for me, I was basically airing real personal shit publicly which I profusely tried to apologise for and retract even just a little while they are unwilling to negotiate when the shit realy hits the fan. Don't believe anything the mods or those who talk netisms in rl in regards to me as the guidelines they tried to create for me were as bad as Bush in my case saying "W.O.T." and look what happened there, it was that extreme I had to call in the law, actually. They didn't stick to anything they set me in regards to complaints they had, that were reasonable. I can only divulge hot information personally as thats what it is, I am also quite willing to say the same things to peoples faces while they are just petty bullies, if I could even be bothered(truly), not cause I'm a tough guy but because I expect more PUNK!, are we to accept this rubbish like we did before, or am I just venting la di da.

I am so thorough as I have to be careful they don't pull me apart like wolves, crywank, fucking humans.

I'm afraid when I go there and think something like "this is the New Zealand punk scene?", all I can do is cringe! Punk used to mean so much to me, but these days I'm almost embarressed to be a part of it! But then I think something like "society's fucked, always has been and probably always will be, and what we have here really is society"! I won't bother going into any more detail, but I'll just say that the more humans you put together in one place the more fucked up they become! I've always hated large crowds... they just about always bring out the worst in human behaviour! That is, they start fighting...

Are you really that worried about being banned form the place, Blair? Surely you have better and more constructive things to do than hang out there all the time... I know I have!

Ha ha, too many people there sound like what my mother did thirty years ago! In other words... conservative! They just can't grasp the concept of erasing everything they've ever been brain washed with and thinking with a blank canvas!

Punk simply has gotten way too popular over the years! All the "normals" that hated us all those years ago are now listening to punk rock... well, the music anyway! Nothing's changed upstairs for them though... the "normals" still hate us!

Which I suppose is alright, because I don't think a lot of them... baaa baa baaaa...

Punk too popular? Hard to imagine... I mean, if Punk really had become a mainstream marketing tool the likes of AGAINST ME and ANTI-FLAG would be on major labels, so-called Punk Rock websites would include Iron Maiden and find 'artistic value' in Radiohead, so-called Punks would enjoy a hearty Big Mac while discussing the 'boring-politico sound' of CRASS and the contribution of George Bush to the current state of the world with Blink 18turd on their slick black I-Pod all geared up to play...

Fuck - this sounds very familiar....

I think you can appreciate the irony, Mike....
