Don't think I've ever seen those!

Sid and Nancy was pretty bad! Especially the soppy oh-so-American ending!

I remember dudes being pretty lame.

I loved SLC Punk but thought ending was a pile of shit.

I've never been a fan of Rude Boy maybe if I was a bigger Clash fan I would've dug it.

Yeh mate that's a goodie. One of Tim Roth's finest moments... that was his debut I believe.

I hated The Punk Rock Movie along with that Punk Attitude doco he did.

I'm with Mr. Puke here - 'Sid And Nancy' was fucking terrible. No wonder Lydon attempted to sue Alex Cox - the dude playing Rotten really was an abortion on legs...
I quite liked 'Rude Boy' though - it kinda has aged badly but the CLASH footage is awesome.
'The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle' was pretty bad too

Yeah, the Swindle was pretty bad! Though I enjoyed it well enough back in the day when getting/hearing/seeing anything punk was difficult! Can't remember what year it was when I saw it in the theatre in Nelson, (late 70's or early 80's) but it was an R18 and I was under aged! A small group of us went to see it, we were all under aged but they let us in, cos we were just about the only people there to watch it! It played three nights, I saw it two of the nights and got the large poster thingy that goes over the door of the theatre!

Same deal for me Mike - I sneaked in with some mates when I was about 13 AND I really enjoyed it then. I guess it was virtually the first exposure I had to any kinda 'Punk Documentary' - even though it was more of a spoof-a-mentary. I do like a lot of it still - it's a laugh... but I can't really handle the glorification of Ronnie Biggs (or his cock waving around on that scene on a Rio beach). The guy was a scum-bag train robber who left someone dead and lived it up on fucking blood money.
You get what you deserve I think - and Biggs eventually got his.
What did ya think of 'Punk In London' Mike? I've skimmed over 'Punk In England' and the '...London' volume is certainly better!!! Bob Geldof says some unreal things... look out for the review!!

Yeah, all that Ronnie Biggs stuff was bullshit! Just another of Malcolm's publicity stunts! At least Johnny Rotten wanted nothing to do with it...

Yeah, I enjoyed "Punk In London", it was quite a good watch! There was a few bands that I'd never heard off! The Clash didn't seem to enjoy their German tour much....
